While Britton ruled out a reunion for the former co-stars on Nashville, she has high hopes for the longtime friends to get back together elsewhere.
“You’re going to see both of us back on TV together. We keep talking about how we have to wait a certain amount of years and then we can go back to working together again,” she said.

I’m working on it. My friend Amy Cook is an amazing songwriter from Austin and we’re going to try to write something together. I’m toying with it right now, playing around with it and we’re trying to write something for the show.

Any update on the Friday Night Lights movie?
They keep going full speed ahead, I think the only thing is going to be getting people’s schedules together. That’s surprisingly the hardest part making that happen. I know that there’s a lot of forward motion with it.
So, BOTH Barack Obama and Mitt Romney have used Clear Eyes, Full Hearts during their campaigns… I believe the fact that Friday Night Lights is awesome is the only thing both sides agree on!
Note to all politicians… STAY AWAY from the awesome!
