Friday Night Lights 30 Day Challenge
Day 8: Your favorite quote.
Give all of us gathered here tonight the strength to remember that life is so very fragile. We are all vulnerable, and we will all, at some point in our lives… fall. We will all fall. We must carry this in our hearts… that what we have is special. That it can be taken from us, and when it is taken from us, we will be tested. We will be tested to our very souls. We will now all be tested. It is these times, it is this pain, that allows us to look inside ourselves.

Tami: I guess it is time to get up.
Coach: I’m going to kill you!

Tami: No, I think it’s a great cause. When I was younger I used to… Well, sure, I’d love to help out. Alright… I could do that. Rice Krispie treats? No… Rice Krispie treats are great and I do prefer them with the M&Ms in. Yah. I’ll probably just make them out of a box. Oh, that many?
Coach: It’s broken.
Tami: Okay, I’d be happy to do that… sure. And thank you so much again for last night, it was just wonderful. Okay… I’ll talk to you later. Byyyyeeee… I swear I’ve got to make 200 Rice Krispie treats by Saturday. I went to that book club meeting last night, I’m on 12 committees now.
Julie: Told you! Slippery slope!
Tami: How’s the AC?
Coach: It’s broken, you were right… call the guy. I’m sorry.
Tami: Sugar? I think it’s time for me to get a job. I mean, we talked about it. We’re settled. I think it’s alright.
Coach: You gonna do it now?
Tami: Yah… I think now. I’m gonna put out some feelers, alright?
Coach: That’s great.
Tami: There’s nothin’ you need to worry about.

Tami: The famous five minutes.
Tami: Alright… night.

Coach: G’night, Hun!
-Friday Night Lights, Deleted Scene, Season 1
Coach: I need to talk to the guidance counselor, not my wife. I need some unbiased, clear, honest advice.
Tami: And I gotta say as a guidance counselor, that’s a firable offense… what he said.
Coach: Alright… let me talk to my wife. Let me talk to the person who cares about me and cares about the team and also has to understand the importance and the relevance to our future of us winning the regional.
Tami: There is nothing more clear to me that your team is way more important to you than Mac McGill.
Coach: Is there anyone else I could talk to?
Tami: You could talk to your friend.
Coach: The 3 of you scare me.
Tami: I know.
