Q.  There have been rumors that “Friday Night Lights” will end after the fifth season, how do you see the longevity of the show?

A.  I’ve sort of been assuming that this will be our last season, because I feel like somebody told me that along the way, but now everyone is saying not necessarily, not definitely, but I don’t know.  In terms of the longevity of the show, I could play this character forever, and I feel like the town of East Dillon could go on for a long time.  I also feel that if we end after season five we will have had an amazing opportunity to create this world, and it’s been a world that we’ve loved and has been so rewarding and satisfying.  I think either way we will probably end on a great note for “Friday Night Lights.”
